We want your Ellect experience to be easy, transparent, and supportive.

Here’s everything you need to know about how we ship your order and how our returns and Fit Guarantee work.

1. Shipping

Where we ship

We ship worldwide – to your home, workplace, or another nominated address.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Australia

  • Stock Orders: 7–14 business days
  • Custom / Made to Order: 21–30 business days

International

  • All Orders: 21–30 business days

Delivery timeframes begin once your order has been confirmed and payment received. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order ships.

Tip: If you need your garment for a specific event, please order early – custom garments take time.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees and free-shipping thresholds are displayed at checkout and may vary by country. 

Returns, Exchanges & Fit Guarantee

Your satisfaction matters to us. Here’s how returns work for both Stock and Custom / Made to Order garments.

1. Stock Orders (Standard Sizes)

If you’re not happy with your Stock item:

  1. Email us within 7 days of delivery with:
    • Your Order Number
    • Description & photos of the issue
  2. If approved, we’ll send you a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
  3. The garment must be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with all tags attached.

You may receive:

  • A credit
  • An exchange
  • Or a refund (in line with Australian Consumer Law)

Please note:

  • Sale items cannot be exchanged.
  • Return postage is at the customer’s cost.

2. Custom / Made to Order — Fit Guarantee

Custom garments are made uniquely for you, so we cannot accept change-of-mind returns.

However, you’re covered by our Fit Guarantee.

If something doesn’t fit right:

  1. Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description.
  2. We’ll respond within 3 business days with guidance.
  3. We may:
  • Approve alterations at your local tailor (costs covered by us), or
  • Request the garment be returned for reassessment.

If the garment cannot be corrected, we will:

  • Remake your garment at no cost, or
  • Provide a credit or refund where appropriate 

All garments must be returned in original condition with tags attached.

This policy is aligned with Australian Consumer Law, and all genuine claims will be honoured.

Returns Process: Quick Summary

  1. Email: wecare@ellect.biz
  2. Include your Order Number + photos
  3. Receive your RA number
  4. Return the item
  5. Allow 1–2 business days for processing (refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear)

Incorrect Details or Missed Delivery

Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct.

We are not responsible for parcels lost or delayed due to incorrect information.
